The Da Vinci Casaneo Series 5098 Mottler Brush is made from synthetic Kazan squirrel hair designed for use with watercolour paints or fluid acrylic colour. These brushes have a short, flat, black polished handle finished with a steel, rust proof ferrule. As these brushes are made from 100% synthetic materials they are suitable for use by vegan artists or those looking for animal-friendly brushes.
The synthetic fibres of the Da Vinci Casaneo brush range are extremely soft, and have similar elasticity and colour carrying volume as their natural squirrel hair alternatives. The Series 5098 Mottler brush is ideal for creating large washes, varnishing, priming and glazing.
