Derwent Graphitint XL Blocks

Derwent Graphitint XL Blocks combine the brand¡¯s popular water-soluble Graphitint formula with the shape of a robust XL Block. Containing the equivalent of 8 pencil¡¯s worth of formula, these blocks are ideal for artists looking to experiment with bold mark making and expressive strokes. You can use all sides of the stick to explore a range of techniques. Try using the corners to create delicate lines, or tilt onto a flat side to deposit colour in broad strokes. They can also be grated into a powder or broken down into smaller drawing tools. Used dry these blocks combine the beauty of graphite with subtle colour. Activate them easily with the sweep of a wet brush to transform your marks into rich, deep washes. Use alone or combine with Graphitint Pencils and Blocks.
