Use these pencils and paints together to create a spectrum of rich, metallic colours in your mixed media projects. Experiment and see how they interact – try using pencils as an outline then wash and splash paint over the top of dry colour. Derwent Metallic Paint Pans transform into creamy, shimmering colours with a touch of a wet brush – use with little water to create bold, gouache-like strokes or dilute to create hazy, shimmering washes. Derwent Metallic Pencils are non-water soluble and create rich, glittering dry colour that is easily blended.
