One of the standout features of the Artex sharpener is its adjustable blade mechanism. By loosening the small screw and sliding the blade along the built-in scale (with an adjustment range of approximately 0.9mm), artists can control how much of the lead is exposed. This allows you to create either a shorter, stronger point for detailed work or a longer exposed lead for broader marks.
This sharpener is not suitable for soft cored pencils like Pastel and Charcoal Pencils.
