The Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolour Paint Air Set 3 x 5ml includes three soft, subtle and delicate colours from the naturals range. The air set includes three unique colours derived from eartch pigments – R¨¹gen Chalk, Caucasus Earth and Green Slate. Caucasus Earth is a cool olive green with pale brown-grey undertones, sourced from a green earth pigment. Green Slate is a light green-grey, semi-transparent shade made from genuine ground slate. R¨¹gen Chalk offers a warm, transparent white derived from fossilized calcium carbonate.
Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolours are a 100% vegan range that combines the qualities of watercolour and gouache. Made with natural earth pigments and plant-based extracts, these semi-transparent colours dry to a matte finish and offer unique hues inspired by historic recipes. Their slightly coarser texture and delicate fragrance make them different to traditional paints. While they work beautifully on their own, they also mix well with other watercolours and gouache. Note that due to the natural pigments, there may be slight colour variations between batches. All colours in the range boast a lightfastness rating of 3 to 5 stars.
