Griffin Alkyds are the perfect for artists who have better things to do than watching paint dry. While traditional oils are wonderful, their long drying times can put some artists off. That¡¯s why Winsor & Newton created their Griffin Alkyds. These paints dry much quicker than traditional oils, meaning you can use impasto and glazing techniques in a single session. Griffin have a greater level of transparency which give improved depth and clarity for glazing. Slightly more fluid than traditional oils, they dry with a slightly reflective surface too.
