Zest-It Brushable Wax Resist

Zest-It Brushable Wax Resist can be applied to your painting surface and will resist any water medium applied over the top. It can be applied with a brush, sponge or shaper. If thinned with Zest-It Wax Solvent it can also be applied with a dip pen or ruling pen.
Brushable Wax Resist is creamy white in colour and made from a mixture of beeswax and gum damar. It has a very mild citrus, resinous, waxy smell. It can be applied to paper, wood or porous surfaces. The area that is covered with the Wax Resist will retain its original colour as water-based media is applied over it. It can also be used to a ‘squeezy’ bottle if you are using a cold style Batik effect on paper or fabric. Leave to dry for a more impasto effect or ‘silk painting’ look is required. Oil paint, dyes, dry pigment, glitter or similar products.
Zest-It Brushable Wax Resist is non-toxic and non-flammable. Do not put this medium down the sink. Keep away from flames, out of sunlight and away from children. Dispose of the any wax/paint waste by putting onto damp sand or soil in a container.
