Zest-It Slate Dust

Zest-It Slate Dust is a painting additive that is used to give ‘tooth’ and texture to your painting media. It can be mixed with oil paint, cold wax mediums, gesso, mediums, plasters and primers.
Slate Dust is ground to a very fine powder. It has a slightly finer, less gritty texture than Marble Dust. Slate Dust does have a slight grey colour which can impart some colouration to your mixes. Use with caution as it is a dusty material. It is advised to wear a mask while using it.
