Each panel is sealed with proprietary Archiva-Seal? technology to help protect against Support Induced Discoloration (SID), making it a reliable choice for artists creating work intended to last.
The bright white, velvety gesso surface has been specially developed for encaustic painting. It is highly absorbent and heat resistant, allowing wax layers to bond firmly without cracking, separation or flaking. The lightly textured finish also makes Encausticbord an excellent surface for a wide range of wet and dry media.
