Golden Extra Heavy Molding Paste

Golden Extra Heavy Molding Paste is an acrylic painting medium that combines the working properties of a heavy gel and molding paste. This medium is great for artists looking to work with highly textured, impasto techniques. It dries to a satin, semi-opaque film and holds brush strokes, knife marks and peaks excellently. It contains fewer opaque fillers than Golden¡¯s other molding pastes, so offers better colour clarity when mixed with acrylic paint. It is a fantastic medium for increasing the viscosity of your paint and building surface texture. Due to its thickness, this paste retains tool marks better than any of Golden¡¯s other molding pastes.
Molding Pastes are water-based acrylic mediums made with 100% acrylic polymer emulsions that give them fantastic flexibility and durability. Drying times will vary depending on the thickness of application.
