Liquitex Professional Bio-Based Acrylic Gloss Medium

Liquitex Professional Bio-Based Acrylic Gloss Medium is part of Liquitex¡¯s innovative, eco-friendly Bio-Based range. Made from renewable, plant-based resources, this gloss medium can be mixed with colour to increase the flow of heavy acrylic paints.
Use it to:
Lower the viscosity of heavier bodied acrylic colours
Add a glossy finish to your paints
Thin colour for fine detail painting techniques
This medium enhances colour depth and transparency while also extending colour without affecting film stability. Using this medium is the best way to thin your colours while maintaining paint adhesion, durability and archival quality. You can also use this medium to transfer printed images or as a collage glue for lightweight materials. Gloss Medium can also be thinned 1:1 with water and applied with an atomizer or airbrush to fix pastel, graphite and chalk artwork.
Mix as much into your acrylic colour as is required – the more you add the more fluid and transparent the final colour will be. Stir your mixes gently to avoid creating foam. If foam does appear allow your mix to settle until the bubbles disappear. this medium can be thinned up to 25% with water.
