Liquitex Professional Crackle Paste

Liquitex Crackle Paste can be used alone or mixed with acrylic colours to create a crackle texture on rigid painting surfaces. This medium dries to an opaque, hard finish.
Crackle Paste can be used alone to create a stable, cracked surface onto which paint can be applied. Alternatively, colour can be mixed in with the medium to create a tinted cracked surface. It is great for artists looking to create acrylic artwork with an antique or vintage effect. This medium is opaque, so can’t be applied over the top of existing work to give it a crackled appearance. It should only be applied to rigid surfaces. When mixed with colour is will maintain the paint’s adhesion, durability and archival qualities.
Liquitex Crackle Paste is lightfast, archival, permanent, non-yellowing and water resistant when dry. It is intermixable with all other Liquitex Acrylic materials.
