Liquithick by Liquitex is a thickening gel for use with water soluble acrylic paint and mediums. Used in
small amounts
, produces handling characteristics very close to that of
oil or encaustic paint

, can thicken paint or mediums to “cake” or
sculptural consistency

Drying time
will be between
24 hours to 7 days
depending upon amount of Liquithick added to paint or medium. Liquithick dries to a
matte surface
sheen and does not increase transparency. Paint and medium shrinkage will occur in proportion to the amount of Liquithick added. Archival Contains a unique polymer.
As this is an
additive
¨C with no acrylic binders –
do not add more than 25%
to your colour/medium and do not mix with other additives. This can cause excessive shrinkage, cracking and the acrylic film to break down.
Do not use with any non-acrylic media.
