The Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolour Paint Earth Set 3 x 5ml includes three rich, earthy and warm colours from the naturals range – Yellow Ochre, Lalvarit Violet and Red Bolus. Yellow Ochre is a complex, natural shade derived from iron oxide deposits in yellow earth, offering more depth than synthetic versions. Red Bolus is a warm, reddish-brown made from red clay. Lalvarit Violet, exclusive to this collection, is a muted violet-brown that blends into soft hints of grey and brown, perfect for creating subtle, earthy gradients.
Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolours are a 100% vegan range that combines the qualities of watercolour and gouache. Made with natural earth pigments and plant-based extracts, these semi-transparent colours dry to a matte finish and offer unique hues inspired by historic recipes. Their slightly coarser texture and delicate fragrance make them different to traditional paints. While they work beautifully on their own, they also mix well with other watercolours and gouache. Note that due to the natural pigments, there may be slight colour variations between batches. All colours in the range boast a lightfastness rating of 3 to 5 stars.
