Rosa Studio Acrylic Sizing

Rosa Studio Acrylic Sizing is a surface primer that¡¯s ideal for artists looking to create their own custom grounds for painting onto. This sizing should be applied before gesso to help seal the fibres of your canvas or panel. It will penetrate the upper layers of the surface, binding it and presenting any gesso from seeping through to the back. Once dry it is colourless and forms a strong, elastic layer that won¡¯t yellow or crack over time. Used alongside Rosa Studio Acrylic Gessoes it provides the perfect adhesion for acrylic paints.
This sizing should be applied neat and not diluted with water. Apply it in thin, even layers with a wide brush. Successive layers can be applied only once the previous layer is completely dry. Do not apply pressure as you apply the sizing to prevent leaking on the reverse side of your canvas.
Tools can be washed with soap and water after use.
